Source Photo Tips for AI Headshots
Practical tips for selecting clear source photos when preparing an AI-generated professional portrait.
Clear source photos give you a better basis for reviewing generated results. You do not need a studio shoot, but it helps to select images where your face is visible, in focus, and not obscured by other people or objects.
Choose clear, useful source photos
- Use recent photos that show your face clearly in reasonable lighting.
- Include natural variations in angle and expression when the upload flow requests them.
- Avoid heavy beauty filters, sunglasses, hats, severe shadows, and blurred screenshots.
- Do not submit images of someone else without their permission.
Review output instead of assuming it is ready
Generated portraits can vary. Inspect each completed result for accuracy and suitability before you use it for an employer, client, directory, application, or public profile.
For Rembrandt Lens, source photos are temporary inputs, deleted after use or expiry. Completed portraits stay in your private library until you delete them or close your account.
